C17 Jeans began production in 1972 with a quality jeans collection that grew in popularity throughout the 70's and 80's to compete with the denim giants such as Levi's, Lee and Wrangler, but faded away in the 90's until production ceased in the late 90's.
The brand was brought back to life this year through leading London retailer Stuarts London and growth continues through select outlets, including INDI Menswear!
The classic heritage fits are still there but modified with today's customer very much at the fore. We have stocked two modern fits and more may be added as new lines are produced.
The Regular Tapered fit is available in an Indigo Rinsed 1-year wash (2-year wash coming soon) and also in a darker Americano Raw, which is a raw denim. The Tapered fit is a low-rise fit with a slightly wider fit on the thigh tapering down gently to the ankle. The Indigo wash will change and become more unique over time. The Raw denim is one for denim connoisseurs-wear them for 6 months before washing to get a truly unique look.
The Slim Fit is not skinny but slim and straight with a classic high-rise for a more heritage feel but with a modern look.
C17 Jeans are made from denim from Cone Denim Mills, one of the oldest and most-respected denim houses in the World. (Remember the old raw Levi's where you sat in the bath to shrink them to you? The denim was Cone denim).
C17 Jeans are made in short runs, to the highest standard, with a whole plethora of detail that gives them the classic workwear character rarely found in mass-produced jeans today.
C17 T Shirts are made from 100% organic cotton to produce a super-soft comfortable feel. Details include an embroidered badge to the sleeve and a small C17 tab to the side seam.
More styles will be added soon so make sure you sign up to our newsletter to keep in the loop (and to get special members' discounts).
