This year we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Merc Clothing. The Carnaby Street brand that started out way back in 1967 at the height of the Mod explosion. Merc has always been associated with British subcultures, from the Mods to the Skinheads and Suedeheads, right through the Mod revivals and eventually finding its way onto the football terraces with the Football Casuals.
Merc has grown from a single shop in Carnaby Street into a Worldwide retail and wholesale business with wide appeal, but it has never forgotten its roots with the Mods and Skins. And so, in this it's 50th anniversary year, Merc has re-introduced some classic styles from way back and introduced new styles in celebration of its past.
